How to Delete Your JamiiHunt Account

JamiiHunt is a public digital service provided by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania under the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology through the Information and Communication Technologies Commission (ICTC).

Users have the right to request deletion of their JamiiHunt account and associated personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App

  1. Open the JamiiHunt mobile application.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Go to Settings or Account.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Confirm your request when prompted.

Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by contacting us using the official email address below.

Subject: Request for JamiiHunt Account Deletion

Include: Your registered email address or phone number

What Happens After Deletion

  • Your JamiiHunt account will be permanently deactivated.
  • Your personal information will be deleted or anonymized.
  • You will no longer receive notifications or updates.

Data Retention

Certain data may be retained for a limited period if required by Tanzanian law or government record-keeping obligations. Any retained data will be securely stored and not used for other purposes.
